Easy access to affordable care

There’s no doubt about it. When it comes to their health, employees want convenient options to care for themselves and their families. So, wouldn’t it be great if these convenient options also came at a lower cost? Meritain Health® is proud to assist by offering in-network access to MinuteClinic and CVS HealthHUB as a standard part of the Aetna® network. Both care options mean easy access to affordable care—often at a lower cost than a visit to the emergency room or trip to urgent care.

About MinuteClinic

MinuteClinic currently has over 1,100 available locations across the U.S. These walk-in clinics—located inside CVS Pharmacy®, CVS y mas, Navarro® or Target stores— are open seven days a week, including evenings and weekends. Since getting to these is simple, employees can seek care right when and where they need it. Plus, it means getting care from the largest provider of retail health in the U.S.

You can visit MinuteClinic for an array of medical needs, ranging from common illnesses to support for chronic conditions. Experienced practitioners can treat you and offer services such as:

    • Immunizations, including flu shots.
    • Screenings, for high cholesterol, blood pressure and diabetes.
    • Treatment for minor illnesses, such as colds, strep throat or the flu.
    • Help with injuries, like sprains or strains.
    • Women’s and men’s health concerns.
    • Sleep disorders.
    • Pre-travel health consultations and vaccines.
    • One-time prescription refills.

Over 125 services are available in-person or as a telehealth option, through MinuteClinic Virtual Care™. You can also access mental health services at select locations, such as counseling, depression screenings and help managing anxiety and stress.

What’s inside CVS HealthHUB?

How does a CVS HealthHUB differ? Available at select CVS Pharmacy locations, CVS HealthHUB offers many of the same services found at MinuteClinic. However, in addition, they provide expanded services, such as pharmacy support and focused chronic condition support. For instance, you can find targeted support to help with:

    • Managing diabetes.
    • Quitting smoking and other tobacco products.
    • Assessing risk for sleep disorders, such as sleep apnea.

You’ll also see an expanded range of products, from supplements to various health care equipment. These may include CPAP machines, connected devices, personal sound amplifiers and emergency response products. At CVS HealthHUB, you may also receive care from licensed professionals, in addition to nurse practitioners and physician associates.

At Meritain Health, we’re proud to be the only third party administrator (TPA) able to provide CVS offerings as part of our network solutions.
