T.J. McDonald helps propel the Meritain Health® sales team forward by working with our national accounts. He is responsible for new business and consultant relationships for the Northeast and Southeast regions. His primary focus is large employers with 3,000 or more employees. T.J.’s areas of specialty include hospital and health care clients, private equity clients and Third Party Advocacy.
T.J. has been with Meritain Health for 13 years, and has earned recognition at our Top Honors conferences five times. Prior to Meritain Health, T.J. was a sales executive with Self Insured Plans, LLC and a territory manager with Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems. While at Self Insured Plans, LLC, he was responsible for introducing the self-funded concept to small and midsize employers in Florida, sales, onboarding and client management.
He received his bachelor’s degree in humanities at Providence College in Rhode Island.
