Sean Shepard

Sean Shepard has spent his career focused on creating meaningful, long-term relationships with clients, consultants and colleagues. He helps  employers understand the value of a third party administrator (TPA), accesses CVS Health and Aetna resources to expand client options, and showcases how Meritain Health can assist employers in creating the health plan they desire.

Sean has spent more than 10 years in the industry, on both the carrier and consulting side focusing public sector entities and multi-entity trust health plans.

Before joining Meritain Health, Sean worked with Cigna as West Region Vice President of Government & Education. Prior to that, he worked as a consultant at Willis on a variety of private and public sector health plans and trusts.

Sean received his bachelor’s degree in political science from Texas Tech University and minored in Arabic Language from The University of Jordan.

In his free time, Sean is an instructor at a local car racing organization  and enjoys spending time with his dog.
